About

NM Labs is a solo software workshop: the sole-trader business (micro-entreprise) of Nicolas Marechal, in Melun, France.

It includes the published web tools (Ticket-Recette, Rexact, Rexact MCP, Pick in private beta, PlainSearch in development), Android boxes converted into Armbian servers, and printable 3D models.

The tone is factual: a measurement counts more than a listing, and each project says what is verified.

Method

How a project leaves the workshop

The same mechanics every time, whether it is a shop receipt or a regex engine.

  1. Diagnosis

Spot the real problem before writing a line of code, and call it off plainly when the first idea no longer holds up.

  2. Specification

Write down the project rules and split the work into batches, each with verifiable success criteria.

  3. Batch development

Each batch is built then validated before the next one opens. Nothing moves forward on a shaky batch.

  4. Audit and go-live

Security, data, payment: put through the wringer before real users touch them.
